Are Healthy Cholesterol Levels?
LDL
- Optimal range for LDL is 100 mg/dL. If your count
is 130 to 159 mg/dL it is considered borderline high
and counts over 160 are putting you at risk.
HDL
- HDL Less than 40 mg/dL is low and is also putting
you at risk.
Triglycerides
- You want your triglycerides to be about 150. This
indicates normal or no increased risk.
